The Tsui Group invites applications from qualified candidates to enhance our aviation projects as a Project Manager II in the bustling Los Angeles County. As an integral part of our team, you will lead significant aviation initiatives, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison and representative for the airport/owner, overseeing project direction and management.
- Develop and manage project scope to achieve defined goals and objectives.
- Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and supervise the procurement processes for designers and contractors.
- Provide leadership to the project team, ensuring timely delivery within budget and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Define program goals, devise strategies to achieve them, and develop a thorough understanding of owner objectives, contract stipulations, and airport regulations.
- Plan, direct, supervise, and control all technical, fiscal, and administrative aspects of the IT segment of the T5 R&R project.
- Collaborate with project teams and airport management to create budgets and schedules for various project elements.
- Oversee the owner's staff responsible for comprehensive project delivery, including stakeholder engagement.
- Manage project scope to fulfill or exceed objectives.
- Identify and analyze complex design, operational, or constructability challenges.
- Conduct field surveys to accurately capture site conditions for informed design and construction decisions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of approved project scope, including agreements, authorizations, reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Lead project management through design and construction phases, addressing technical design issues, ensuring compliance, processing RFIs, and managing material and mock-up approvals.
- Facilitate construction by eliminating obstacles that hinder project efficiency.
- Monitor and guide the permitting processes necessary for the design team and contractor.
- Become thoroughly acquainted with contractual obligations and technical specifications of all facilities involved in the project.
