Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum of 8 years of experience in hydrology and hydraulics, serving either public sector or private consulting clients. Demonstrated expertise in rainfall runoff modeling and statistical hydrology. At least 3 years of experience in a project management role. Current registration as a Professional Engineer (P. E.) in the state of California. Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring technical professionals. Proven track record in business development and enhancing client relationships. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required, as the position entails operating a vehicle for work-related travel. Preferred Qualifications:Strong existing relationships and experience collaborating with California agencies and public sector clients. Direct experience in stormwater management projects.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in a variety of water resource engineering projects, which encompass rainfall analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater management, and drafting technical guidance documents. Additionally, you may contribute to various civil and water-related initiatives. This position is based in Southern California, primarily in San Diego, and offers the flexibility of hybrid work along with regional travel across Southern California for client engagements.
