As we continue to grow our infrastructure to support our expanding operations, we are in search of a dedicated Purchasing Manager to enhance our procurement processes.
Position Overview
The Purchasing Manager will remotely oversee procurement activities, supporting our U. S.-based HVAC and electrical divisions. This pivotal role involves sourcing essential materials, fostering vendor relationships, and optimizing cost efficiencies while ensuring timely procurement and effective coordination with U. S. operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement purchasing strategies within HVAC and electrical divisions.
- Coordinate daily procurement tasks for U. S.-based operations.
- Manage supplier relationships concerning pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and rebates with vendors and distributors.
- Monitor and manage purchase orders to guarantee timely fulfillment.
- Oversee inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse and field teams.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance purchasing efficiency.
- Maintain accurate purchasing data in ERP systems.
- Engage with U. S. teams across operations, finance, and leadership.
- Assist in standardizing purchasing processes across various locations.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Experience working with U. S.-based companies or in remote roles is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and adept at managing vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing platforms.
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the HVAC, electrical, construction, or service industries.
- Knowledge of U. S. suppliers (e.g., Ferguson, Winsupply, Grainger).
