Quality Systems Engineer
Location: Hamilton, OH 45013
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Hours: 7AM - 5PM - Monday - Friday
Position Overview
As a Quality Systems Engineer at The Mural Group, you will play a pivotal role in supporting quality assurance initiatives within our manufacturing operations. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold and enhance our quality systems, ensure compliance with both customer expectations and regulatory standards, and facilitate inspections. Under the guidance of the Quality Manager, you will assist in the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS), investigate non-conformities, and guarantee that our products adhere to specified standards prior to shipment.
Collaboration is key in this role as you will work alongside production and operations teams to ensure thorough documentation, process improvements, and consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities
Stay well-informed about relevant quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the upkeep and enhancement of the Quality Management System (QMS), including the management of procedures, records, and documentation.
Support inspection processes to verify that products meet customer specifications and internal quality benchmarks.
Manage nonconformance incidents, assist in root cause analyses, and aid in implementing corrective measures.
Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, inspection records, and product traceability within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Ensure adherence to customer requirements, quality protocols, and internal documentation standards.
Facilitate internal and external audits by maintaining organized and accurate quality records.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production, operations, and engineering teams to address quality challenges and enhance processes.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience within quality systems, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or inspection roles in a manufacturing setting.
Demonstrated attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team to achieve quality objectives.
