Minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or a similar customer-focused role with direct revenue responsibility.
At least 3 years of proven track record in a quota-carrying role.
Fluent in German, both written and spoken.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, with responsibilities including expansion, upselling, and retention.
Ability to meet activity and pipeline expectations while adhering to published standards of excellence.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
A strong background in delivering value and growth to customers through virtual interactions, including enablement sessions and strategy meetings.
Proven ability to communicate the value of complex enterprise technologies.
Technologically inclined and eager to learn about MongoDB and databases.
Adept at working in a fast-paced environment.
Skilled in utilizing tools and data to gain insights into client usage of MongoDB.
Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in a changing environment and contributing to process improvement and best practices.

The Relationship Account Management team at MongoDB focuses on building lasting partnerships with established clients and supporting their growth across the EMEA region. Since its formation three years ago, the team has continued to expand alongside MongoDB’s presence.
Role Overview
The Relationship Account Manager (RAM) serves as the primary contact for a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts. This role centers on client retention and growth, helping customers reach their business goals through the MongoDB ecosystem. The RAM works closely with clients to support their success and advocates for their needs within MongoDB.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts
- Drive client success by understanding and supporting customer goals
- Promote education and enablement on MongoDB products and services
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Manage renewals and retention activities
- Oversee all aspects of the customer relationship for your account portfolio
Location and Work Model
This position is based in Dublin. Candidates will join MongoDB’s hybrid work model, working both onsite and remotely as part of the local team.
