Qualifications
Job Responsibilities
Be the first warm welcome for incoming patients, triaging them and guiding them toward care.
Assist with various treatments, nursing care, and diagnostics, including bloodwork, imaging, catheter placement, and oxygen support.
Collaborate with credentialed veterinary technicians and veterinarians to set up and monitor anesthesia and sedation cases.
Manage IV fluids, blood transfusions, and medication administration.
Support care from the exam room to the treatment area, ensuring consistent patient management.
Participate in patient rounds to maintain continuity of care.
Learn CPR techniques and become a RECOVER Certified Rescuer (training provided).
Progress into advanced responsibilities as you grow in your role.
