JOB OVERVIEW

As a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral part of our emergency care team, providing essential support during critical moments. You will manage a diverse array of cases, working alongside our veterinarians to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include triage, treatment administration, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while offering reassurance to pet owners during stressful times. This role is perfect for a professional eager to apply their skills, further their education, and make a significant impact in veterinary emergency medicine.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide exceptional care to both patients and clients, ensuring they feel supported throughout the treatment process.
  • Act promptly in delivering nursing care and emotional support during critical situations, from initial triage to patient discharge.
  • Administer medications and perform monitoring tasks, including IV placements and blood transfusions.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to treatment plans and ensuring smooth operation of care delivery.
  • Be prepared to perform CPR and other emergency procedures as a certified RECOVER CPR professional, training opportunities are provided to enhance your skills.
