THE JOB

As a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team on the front lines of emergency veterinary care, where every moment is critical. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of cases, from minor ailments to complex emergencies. Collaborating closely with our veterinarians and team members, you will provide top-tier, empathetic care while being a reassuring presence for pet owners during their most challenging times. This role is perfect for someone eager to apply their training, enhance their skills, and offer vital support to pets and their families.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Treat every patient and their owners with the utmost respect, because they matter! You will stand by their side through diagnostic tests, treatments, and everything in between.
  • Spring into action, offering nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during the most crucial moments, from initial triage to discharge.
  • Administer medications and monitoring, showcasing your proficiency with IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions, and more.
  • Communicate effectively as a team player while thinking strategically to help shape treatment plans and ensure seamless care.
  • Be prepared to perform CPR as a certified RECOVER professional (we provide training and support to maintain our high standards of care).
