Job Summary

As an RF/Electrical Engineer at Lynk, you will engage in a multifaceted role involving radio frequencies, electronics, hardware, and software. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, designing, implementing, optimizing, and enhancing our nanosatellite communication payload and the future constellation network. Key deliverables will encompass conducting link budget analyses, system dimensioning for coverage and capacity, traffic analysis, simulation, and initial system design. You will also engage in coverage planning, frequency planning, and interference analysis and mitigation strategies. This position requires support for the iterative design and testing of nanosatellite payload hardware, electronics, and software. Working with software-defined radios, single-board computers, FPGAs, SoCs, processors, LNAs, and filters will be crucial, as will your involvement in antenna selection and design for the payload. Hands-on tasks may include soldering, using spectrum analyzers, assembling circuits on breadboards, and configuring RF channel simulators.
