ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an RF Systems Engineer II - Operations, you will operate independently under the mentorship of the RF Manager. Your responsibilities will include defining mission TT&C plans, preparing interface control documents (ICDs), and validating the operational readiness of TT&C systems through thorough testing. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams such as GNC and Flight Software, as well as engage with external ground station operators to ensure seamless mission execution.
This position is vital to the success of our missions, demanding technical proficiency, strong problem-solving capabilities, and a proactive mindset to ensure our systems are primed for performance in challenging environments.
IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL:
- Analyze mission requirements, trajectories, and link assessments to establish operational TT&C configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize systems.
- Conduct testing and validation of TT&C systems to ensure mission readiness.
