About the Team:

The Fleet Operations Team is responsible for maximizing uptime and enhancing operational performance across Formic's expanding fleet of deployed robotic systems. Operating within live manufacturing environments, this team diagnoses issues, restores production, and continuously drives system reliability improvements at scale. Fleet Operations works at the intersection of robotics, controls, and real-world factory execution, ensuring that Formic’s automation consistently delivers measurable performance across a variety of industrial applications.

About the Role:

As a Robotics Field Service Engineer, you will be the frontline technical authority for Formic's deployed robotic cells. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing failures, restoring systems to operational status, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and directly representing Formic within customer facilities.

This role is hands-on with high accountability in uptime-critical environments. Success in this position necessitates strong troubleshooting skills, calm execution during production disruptions, and meticulous documentation. Your efforts will have a direct impact on fleet performance, customer satisfaction, and long-term system reliability.
