What you will doEnhance Apollo's detection and response strategies in collaboration with engineering and IT leadership. Implement and uphold compliance with SOC 2 and other cloud security frameworks. Manage escalations from Sales and Customer Success, including security audits and questionnaires. Develop and refine monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to boost visibility while minimizing false alerts. Lead the automation of Security Operations workflows to accelerate investigations and responses. Advise on the secure integration of AI across Apollo—from internal applications to AI-enhanced product features. Participate in an on-call rotation, designed to be manageable and efficient. Who you areA highly skilled Security Operations Engineer with extensive experience in detection, response, and operational security. Proficient in establishing and managing modern cloud security measures across environments such as AWS, GCP, or similar. Adept at collaborating with engineers to incorporate operational security practices into their workflows. An effective communicator who can clearly articulate threats and mitigation strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Enthusiastic about the intersection of AI and security, with innovative ideas on leveraging AI while managing its risks. Driven by results—not just incident resolution, but building robust systems and minimizing risks at scale.
