Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience. A minimum of 7 years of experience in database programming and management, specifically with Oracle 12c and/or 19c, Microsoft SQL 2012 and later, and Azure SQL. Proficient with AWS, AWS GovCloud, Azure, and/or Cloud One hosted database solutions, including native and hybrid cloud configurations, to support the sustainment of existing systems and recommend enhancements for optimal cloud utilization. Familiarity with task order-related tools such as TFS, Jira, or equivalent is desirable.

TechFlow Inc. is seeking a dedicated Senior Database Programmer with a robust background in application development and ongoing sustainment of existing Department of Defense (DoD) systems within AWS and Azure cloud environments. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our cross-functional team to deliver lifecycle support for the Enterprise Logistics Readiness Portfolio, specifically for the Cargo and Personnel Movement Product Line Family of Systems at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL. The ideal individual will possess extensive knowledge and experience in Oracle and Microsoft database programming and administration. Strong communication, coordination, and collaborative skills are essential for effectively enhancing system capabilities, driving efficiencies, and ensuring timely issue resolution to maintain operational production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver database solutions within DISA and Cloud One (AWS, Azure) hosted environments.
  • Engage in database programming and administration tasks for both Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases utilized by the US Air Force.
  • Create, modify, and execute database procedures, processes, queries, triggers, scripts, and views.
  • Conduct database queries, updates, and edits utilizing Structured Query Language (PL/T SQL), SQL*Plus, SQL*Net, data query, SQL Developer, and APEX.
  • Program, administer, test, and implement computer databases, leveraging knowledge of database management systems.
  • Provide system and database engineering support for development, testing, and production activities associated with software releases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database communication issues.
  • Adhere to software development, testing, security, and system fielding processes for DISA and Cloud One hosted environments.
  • Contribute to the development of architectural views to ensure compliance with BEA, NDAA, and DoDAF.
  • Deliver technical sustainment and development services, including analysis, design, documentation of deficiencies and changes, testing, debugging, coordination with government functional SMEs and stakeholders, configuration management, and maintaining software architecture and risk management artifacts.
