QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is mandatory. A minimum of 12 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on team leadership. Deep technical knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and extensive consolidation experience. A proven history of driving process improvements and harnessing technology/automation. Hands-on leadership experience in developing close-to-reporting processes in complex environments. Aptitude for navigating ambiguity and building foundational processes from scratch. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging across diverse cultures and geographies.

Your Role

We are in search of a dynamic Assistant Controller to assume a pivotal leadership position in our corporate accounting operations. As the Assistant Controller, you will be the architect of essential accounting processes, guiding the monthly close and actualizing the Controller’s strategic vision. This role is all about transforming strategy into efficient, scalable workflows.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee all monthly and quarterly close activities, guaranteeing accuracy, timeliness, and scalability.
  • Design and implement robust policies, controls, and workflows in accordance with GAAP/IFRS, revenue recognition, and consolidations.
  • Champion automation and AI integration in reconciliations, reporting, and consolidation processes.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team, fostering accountability and excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders (Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Operations) to ensure data integrity and precise reporting.
