Qualifications
Responsibilities and DutiesHold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. Possess over 5 years of hands-on experience in digital signal processing (DSP), with expertise in filtering, signal conditioning, estimation, and real-time signal analysis. Demonstrate strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ development along with familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS). Exhibit experience with analog and mixed-signal systems from a DSP viewpoint, including ADC/DAC interfacing, sampling theory, and quantization effects. Have practical experience in test planning, verification, and system debugging for DSP algorithms and embedded systems. Show the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams, engaging effectively with software, hardware, and systems engineers.

Radiant Industries is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in digital signal processing (DSP). In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the design and development of innovative signal processing and data acquisition architectures for terrestrial reactor control systems, with aspirations for future applications in space reactor technologies. As the technical authority in real-time signal processing, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of DSP pipeline development—from defining requirements and developing algorithms to implementation, validation, and deployment.
Your focus will be on comprehensive DSP development, which encompasses digital filtering, detection, estimation algorithms, and real-time processing on embedded processors and FPGA platforms. Collaborating closely with hardware teams, you will ensure the effective interfacing with mixed-signal systems (including ADC/DACs and sensors), thereby guaranteeing precise sampling, low-noise signal conditioning, and reliability in high-stakes reactor control environments.
