About the job
About CookUnity:
In an age where convenience often overshadows quality, CookUnity was established in 2018 as a revolutionary platform that bridges the gap between exceptional chefs and food lovers. Delivering 50 million meals annually, we connect home kitchens with culinary artistry, offering fresh, ready-to-eat meals crafted with genuine passion that feeds both body and soul.
With a drive for innovation, CookUnity is evolving from a meal delivery service into a dynamic marketplace, focused on our core mission: empowering chefs to nourish the world.
If this mission resonates with you, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity.
About the Team:
The Activation Team, part of CookUnity’s Growth organization, plays a pivotal role in shaping the user journey during crucial early interactions. Our mission is to transform new and returning users into dedicated CookUnity customers by enhancing their understanding of our platform, fostering ordering habits, and ensuring they quickly perceive value.
The team focuses on three critical areas:
- Activation & Onboarding: You will oversee the onboarding and early lifecycle experience, particularly emphasizing the first five weeks to educate users about the platform, minimize friction, and create engaging experiences that promote early repeat orders and long-term loyalty.
- Referrals: Manage the complete referrals experience for both referrers and referees, facilitating user invitations and driving effective, high-quality user acquisition through word of mouth.
- Reactivation: Design and implement strategies to reactivate churned or inactive users through tailored experiences, messaging, and incentives that reignite engagement.
The Role:
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our Activation Team, where you will significantly contribute to building and optimizing backend services and APIs that support CookUnity’s activation, referral, and reactivation initiatives. This role involves working on Server-Driven UI (SDUI) services within our Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architecture, among other responsibilities.
