As a Senior Operations Manager at Carvana, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing multiple reconditioning lines, ensuring that production metrics are consistently achieved and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise multiple reconditioning lines within the Inspection & Reconditioning Center (IC), effectively planning production for the entirety of each working shift.
- Take full responsibility for facility management in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring that production, cost, and quality targets are met or exceeded.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks impacting site throughput and efficiency through root cause analysis, developing actionable plans in collaboration with site leadership and team members.
- Conduct weekly performance reviews with Senior Reconditioning leadership, focusing on performance against targets, challenges encountered, and effective countermeasures.
- Lead daily site manager meetings to set the day's priorities and objectives.
- Assist in the implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives at your location and potentially across the region/network, while also providing training on process changes.
- Support the growth and development of Reconditioning Leads and Managers by facilitating Development Plans and providing ongoing competency-based feedback.
- Exemplify Carvana’s core values through effective leadership, teamwork, and communication on the shop floor.
