Role Overview:
- Contribute to the design and development of state-of-the-art radar systems.
Responsibilities:
- Create and enhance advanced radar signal processing algorithms for effective target detection, tracking, and classification.
- Lead the innovation of new radar functionalities with minimal oversight.
- Optimize algorithms to achieve real-time efficiency while adhering to resource limitations.
- Develop and implement algorithms in various programming languages (C++, Python, MATLAB) and hardware platforms (FPGAs, DSPs).
- Conduct thorough analysis of radar data to assess system performance and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Establish and maintain system simulations and models to aid algorithm development and performance assessment.
- Design and develop various radar operational modes.
- Assist in formulating system requirements and specifications.
- Engage in modeling and simulation of radar systems, subsystems, and the signal processing pipeline.
- Plan and oversee field tests and data collection initiatives.
- Document and present technical insights and advancements to leadership.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
Work full-time onsite at our Hawthorne, CA office.
