This position is a senior-level role, dedicated to managing educational projects while providing team leadership, mentoring colleagues, enhancing the quality of our deliverables, integrating our diverse design services, streamlining our processes, and ensuring robust financial outcomes.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Forge and cultivate successful partnerships with clients to unlock future growth opportunities for CannonDesign.
- Maintain positive client relations throughout project lifecycles, articulating design and construction matters clearly and persuasively.
- Establish collaborative relationships with clients at the onset of engagements to align expectations and clarify the involvement of key stakeholders and decision timelines.
- Oversee effective communication both with clients and internally, including thorough documentation of projects. Take a leading role in significant meetings and presentations.
- Engage in business development initiatives and collaborate with marketing and office leadership to drive revenue growth.
- Comprehend and uphold our contractual commitments to clients and projects, ensuring we meet expectations for our scope of work and services. Proactively work with clients to secure approvals for project scope changes before proceeding.
- Lead project teams alongside client leadership to define project objectives and plans, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, schedule, innovation, and profitability targets.
- Facilitate the development, evolution, and management of work plans, budgets, and schedules using tools such as MS Project and Deltek Project Planning.
- Oversee the design and documentation process, ensuring effective implementation during construction.
- Maintain comprehensive project records, capturing and documenting key decisions within the CannonDesign standard file structure.
- Be accountable for risk mitigation and compliance, creating and managing a project risk management plan.
- Foster a collaborative environment among all team members, promoting participation and empowerment.
