About the Role:
Following the acquisition of Securiti AI, a leader in AI-driven data security posture management (DSPM), Veeam is on the lookout for a Senior Sales Engineer to spearhead technical leadership within our sales team, with a focus on the Securiti AI portfolio. In this role, you will collaborate with a Securiti Sales Specialist and support a team of 3–5 Account Executives and Veeam Solution Engineers as the go-to technical expert.
You will guide customers through needs assessments to solution design, providing hands-on demos and proof-of-concepts that illustrate the value of our offerings. Success in this role hinges on your strong technical acumen and your ability to build trust with clients.
Your Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for Securiti AI solutions throughout the sales process
- Lead technical discussions and develop tailored security solutions
- Address customer requirements related to data discovery, posture management, and compliance
- Design and deliver engaging product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure seamless transitions
Your Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in pre-sales or sales engineering
- In-depth understanding of data and/or cloud security
- Strong communication skills for engaging both technical and business stakeholders
- 10+ years of technical sales experience in security
- 15+ years in Software/SaaS/Enterprise technical sales
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with data privacy/security standards (e.g., GDPR, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001)
