Primary Function of Position
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Product Security, you will play a pivotal role in bolstering Intuitive's Product Cybersecurity organization. Your efforts will enhance the security posture of our products, infrastructure, and services throughout their lifecycle. This position requires you to design and implement innovative security features and mitigations while supporting the deployment of infrastructure, with a key focus on manufacturing and supply chain security. You will collaborate with various teams and product groups to ensure that our products are of the highest quality and comply with regulatory and organizational standards in a dynamic environment.
Essential Job Duties
- Design, develop, and implement robust product security features, mitigations, and tools.
- Respond to infrastructure-related escalations, diagnose issues, and deploy effective solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive security reviews, including architecture reviews, code reviews, and vulnerability assessments.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies, processes, procedures, and documentation such as requirements, test reports, risk analyses, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to address security concerns and ensure compliance with relevant security laws and regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement of security processes, policies, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and deliver real-time security status updates and reports to key stakeholders.
- Stay informed on evolving security threats, technologies, and best practices through both formal and self-directed learning.
