Role overview
CompuNet, Inc. seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer with a focus on Data Center solutions for its Gillette, WY location. This role supports both pre-sales and post-sales efforts, guiding clients through tailored IT solutions that align with their business needs. The position involves designing systems before the sale and ensuring smooth implementation afterward.
Main responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies that help clients succeed.
- Lead pre-sales technical activities, including detailed system design work.
- Create Bills of Materials (BoM), technical diagrams, illustrations, and Statements of Work (SoW).
- Explain technical concepts to audiences with varying technical backgrounds.
- Oversee implementation of designed systems and ensure successful deployment.
- Document projects thoroughly after implementation.
- Deliver in-depth systems administration training for end users following deployment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturer Partner SEs.

- Demonstrate strong communication skills across multiple technology areas.
- Keep current certifications up to date and pursue new certifications to expand expertise.
- Contribute actively in team meetings and collaborative activities.
