Your Role:

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will:

  • Design and implement thorough test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts across functional, regression, performance, and automated testing.
  • Identify, document, and manage defects while collaborating effectively with development teams to resolve challenges swiftly.
  • Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber, Behave, or SpecFlow to elevate test automation.
  • Lead quality assurance initiatives by providing technical guidance on testing best practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Conduct both manual and automated testing to validate software and hardware functionality.
  • Analyze test results, prepare reports, and offer actionable recommendations for product enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with development, product management, and QA teams to define testing requirements and acceptance standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging across various environments.
  • Continuously investigate new testing tools, methodologies, and techniques to improve testing effectiveness.
  • Maintain quality assurance for codebases developed in Python and PHP.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, UX designers) to comprehend requirements, establish testing scope, and uphold quality standards.
  • Utilize industry-standard defect tracking tools to document and track issues until resolution.
  • Set up test metrics, KPIs, and quality benchmarks, regularly reporting quality status, trends, and risks to stakeholders.
