Role Overview
The Site Reliability Engineer for Player Management joins a Product Development team spread across five locations. This group supports a scalable, multi-brand platform that powers more than 40 online brands and serves hundreds of thousands of users. The team works to maintain performance, functionality, and user experience in a highly competitive industry.
Focus Area: Player Account Management (PAM)
This role centers on the Player Account Management area, which covers:
- Account creation, verification, updates, and closure
- Account authentication, controls, and security
- User session management
- Responsible gaming measures
What You Will Do
- Incident & Problem Management: Investigate system incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions. Work to reduce incidents related to system changes.
- Observability & Metrics: Define and maintain SLAs, SLOs, and key success metrics for new projects. Build and update dashboards to support observability goals.
- Performance & Capacity: Spot and help resolve performance bottlenecks. Optimize both infrastructure and code for quick service delivery. Plan for future hardware or cloud resource needs.
- Availability & Change Management: Keep platform components available and reliable for users. Oversee deployments to ensure new code integrates smoothly without disrupting operations.
