Role overview

This Site Reliability Engineer / Support Developer position in Irving, TX combines elements of production support, software engineering, and site reliability. The role centers on investigating critical incidents, identifying root causes, applying immediate fixes or workarounds, and taking steps to improve the reliability of Wellfit’s systems. Collaboration with Platform, DevOps, and Engineering teams is essential, helping core developers focus on product delivery. The role suits someone who remains calm under pressure, adapts to uncertainty, and takes ownership from incident detection through resolution.

What you will do

Investigate and triage high-priority (P1/P2) production incidents quickly and accurately.
Perform root cause analysis across distributed systems and apply immediate fixes or workarounds to keep systems stable.
Document findings and hand off longer-term solutions to engineering teams.
Monitor system health using tools like Grafana, logs, and telemetry dashboards, identifying anomalies before they become larger issues.
Refine alerts and work with DevOps/SRE peers to improve reliability practices and monitoring systems.
Build internal tools, scripts, or small services to streamline support and operations, mainly using . NET and Azure technologies.
Help reduce technical debt by addressing recurring production issues.
Translate technical issues into clear updates for stakeholders and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer-facing teams.
Participate in calls with internal teams or clients to explain incidents and resolutions as needed.

Your key role will be to provide exceptional clinical education and product training to both individuals living with diabetes and healthcare professionals, facilitating product adoption and encouraging ongoing usage. Together with the TBL, you will devise territory-specific strategies and initiatives aimed at achieving and surpassing territorial objectives.Your Territory includes Western Oregon: Portland, Vancouver, Eugene, Medford, and Bend.In your capacity as a Senior Clinical Diabetes Specialist, you will also assume a leadership position, mentoring junior team members, aiding in field sales training, and participating in internal advisory boards.
