Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in software development, especially in distributed systems and real-time applications. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java. Familiarity with cloud technologies, data mesh architectures, and command and control systems is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

ABOUT OUR TEAM

The Connected Warfare division is responsible for creating advanced systems that facilitate global command and control operations. We engineer integrated, time-sensitive, multi-domain ecosystems that support connected warfare initiatives, enabling a disproportionate impact through the seamless integration of robots, personnel, and sensors across various domains. Our platform acts as the vital source of truth for expeditious decision-making, fundamentally altering how military operations execute kill chains and foster mission autonomy.

Our Menace Platform group is pioneering a unique platform tailored for tactical environments where connectivity is challenging, and latency can jeopardize lives. Utilizing Anduril's proven Menace and Voyager systems, in conjunction with our Lattice orchestration framework and distributed data mesh, the Menace Platform empowers warfighters and allies to deploy applications, share critical data, and make rapid decisions—even in disconnected scenarios.

As a Software Engineer with the Menace Platform group, you will tackle innovative challenges aimed at developing a next-generation distributed data layer and mesh ecosystem for the U. S. and its allies. You will play a crucial role in laying the groundwork for this mission, thoughtfully designing systems while balancing immediate customer needs with a vision for the future. We prioritize the mission in every engineering decision, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software on time while proactively addressing emerging challenges.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Take ownership of software components across the Menace Platform, including mesh platform, data interfaces, and release management.
  • Deliver robustly architected systems through clear interfaces, engaging in code reviews, design reviews, and applying modern software engineering practices.
