Qualifications
What We Are Looking ForA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Strong foundational knowledge in computer science principles (data structures, algorithms, software design) with an aptitude for applying them to real-world challenges. Proficient in at least one modern programming language; Python is highly preferred, but experience in languages such as Go, Java, C++, or similar is also advantageous. Experience in software writing and testing through internships, personal projects, open-source contributions, coursework, coding competitions, or research, with the ability to showcase code you’re proud of and discuss the decisions made during development. Interest in or exposure to contemporary software delivery practices (e.g., CI/CD, containers, cloud platforms, observability tools), with a desire to delve deeper. Prior hands-on experience is a plus but not a strict requirement. Developing skills in effective written and verbal communication: you can articulate your work, ask insightful questions, and welcome feedback, with a commitment to continuous improvement. A growth mindset: you actively seek feedback, learn from your experiences, and look for opportunities to tackle increasingly complex tasks over time. We do not expect you to be a performance expert or infrastructure specialist upon joining. We are looking for early-career engineers who are eager to learn how large-scale systems are constructed, evaluated, and enhanced, and who aspire to take on more complex projects as they progress.
