About the Site Reliability Engineering Team
The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team focuses on the reliability of Neo4j’s Database as a Service product, Neo4j Aura. Aura operates globally across all major cloud providers, managing many Kubernetes clusters and thousands of Neo4j instances at once.
This team is rethinking SRE practices at Neo4j Aura. Instead of responding only to incidents, the team designs systems for reliability from the start. The work includes building tools, shaping practices, and fostering a culture that puts SRE principles at the center of Aura’s operations. Collaboration with product teams and a commitment to long-term resilience are central to the team’s approach.
Role Overview: Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering
- Automate for insight and scale: Build systems that allow rapid, safe, and scalable troubleshooting for thousands of Neo4j instances. This includes developing internal tools that provide clear operational insights.
