Key Responsibilities:Lead the manufacturing strategy for PCBAs in eVTOL applications, establishing scalable processes from prototype to mass production. Qualify and assess manufacturing partners, scrutinizing their technical capabilities, quality systems, and production capacities for both rapid prototypes and large-scale production. Create and uphold DFM standards with comprehensive procedures, checklists, and best practices for rigid, flex, and rigid-flex PCB designs. Provide DFM expertise by analyzing PCBA designs and suggesting optimizations to improve manufacturability, yield, and cost efficiency. Enhance process excellence at subcontractor sites through the development, implementation, and enforcement of manufacturing procedures and quality standards. Conduct material research and qualification via Design of Experiments (DoEs) to identify optimal materials for demanding aerospace applications. Collaborate with eCAD librarians to create component footprints that align with DFM requirements and manufacturing constraints. Lead root cause analysis for PCBA failures during reliability testing and operational deployment, implementing corrective actions. Drive yield improvement initiatives at subcontractor assembly lines through data-driven problem-solving. Work cross-functionally with electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, program management, and product lifecycle teams to achieve outstanding results.
