Define, implement, and lead the infrastructure integration engineering practice, establishing the technical vision and strategy for integrating new entities and technologies. Take sole ownership of all infrastructure components related to acquisition integration, from initial discovery and due diligence through to migration execution and post-integration support. Conduct thorough technical evaluations of target companies' infrastructure, systems, and operational capabilities, pinpointing risks and opportunities for improvement. Develop and refine an integration roadmap that aligns with Anduril's strategic objectives.

Role overview

The Infrastructure Engineering team is hiring a Staff Systems Engineer with a focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration. This position leads the technical process of incorporating newly acquired companies into Anduril’s infrastructure. The scope includes every stage of integration: discovery, technical evaluation, migration, and continued support after the initial transition.

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and refine procedures for integrating acquisitions into Anduril’s systems.
  • Work directly with founders, executives, and technical staff to create architectural frameworks and strategic roadmaps for integration.
  • Take on hands-on engineering tasks throughout the integration process as needed.
  • Partner with stakeholders such as the M&A program team, Client Engineering, and Business Systems & Applications to define and enhance integration engineering practices.
  • Develop repeatable, benchmarked processes and participate in post-mortem reviews to drive ongoing improvements.
  • Spot gaps in discovery, migration, or testing tools, and either build these tools or coordinate their development with others.
  • Work closely with Security and Client Engineering teams, drawing on strong systems, networking, and security experience.
