Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) invites current students to apply for a Fall 2026 internship in our Waltham, MA office.
As an Intern or Co-op candidate, you will collaborate closely with our industry-leading experts, gaining practical experience while applying your academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support construction monitoring, field investigations, condition assessments, construction observations, project drafting, structural design and analysis, and site inspections.
- Analyze materials, assist our petrography team, establish testing protocols, design and create testing apparatus, execute tests, and interpret test data.
- Work alongside SGH engineers to conduct reconnaissance on existing structures, perform field tests, or oversee ongoing construction projects.
