This position is responsible for maintaining a positive and nurturing environment while supervising children and youth in various settings including classrooms, hallways, and school yards. The Teacher’s Assistant will float between rooms to provide necessary teaching support and ensure compliance with regulations set by the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF), California Community Care Licensing, and the Department of Social Services. A flexible schedule is required, including some evenings, and regular attendance is essential.
