We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Requirements Evaluation and Design (RED) Team Lead to oversee and manage our program's executive support group. Candidates must demonstrate a solid background in working within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment and effectively integrate with a multi-contractor team.

The RED Team Lead plays a pivotal role in the assessment and design phases of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) aimed at enhancing IT infrastructure and network architecture. This position entails leading a dedicated team in evaluating network requirements, formulating technical solutions, and ensuring that designs align with client expectations and government regulations while maintaining cost efficiency. The RED Team Lead will liaise closely with DoD clients and various stakeholders to navigate the complexities associated with system upgrades, network modernization, and technology refresh initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assessment of network requirements submitted by customers utilizing a government-issued service ticketing platform.
  • Guide the team in supporting DoD clients in articulating their network needs effectively.
  • Direct the design process for ECPs, ensuring proposed changes to IT infrastructure and network architecture are robust, cost-effective, and compliant with established standards.
  • Oversee the development of technical solutions aligned with project categories defined in the ECP Catalog.
  • Act as the primary point of communication between the project team and DoD clients to clarify requirements, discuss technical solutions, and resolve challenges encountered during project execution.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, particularly regarding hardware-related requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Supervise the creation of project documentation, including Change Requests, ECP Waiver Requests, and Status Reports.
  • Implement project management best practices within the team to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and innovative solutions to address complex project demands, fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptability within the team.
