Role Overview
In the role of Technical Operations Manager for Drops, Installations, and Repairs at GFiber, you will lead a team comprising internal contractors and third-party vendors to achieve objectives related to scheduling, volume, cost, and quality. Your responsibilities will include overseeing vendor performance, spearheading cross-functional initiatives, and driving continuous improvement programs. You will ensure that the team effectively executes strategic customer-facing activities associated with service activation and service assurance, facilitating the delivery of complex projects that connect people to the internet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily vendor ticket management to guarantee the timely execution of drops, installations, and repairs; serve as the primary vendor contact, track invoiced quantities, and manage vendor purchase orders.
- Engage with customers to resolve installation issues, manage escalations, and approve field estimates while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards and coordinate Quality Inspections for drops and installations, along with necessary reporting.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to address any issues related to drops, installations, or repairs, fostering a positive work culture.
- Work closely with vendors and management to continuously refine and enhance installation procedures, while providing market performance reports to leadership.
