Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain high-fidelity, multi-domain models for electric vehicle subsystems (e.g., drivetrains, battery systems, inverters, DC/DC converters, motors, gearboxes, braking, thermal systems). Simulate and analyze powertrain behavior across various use cases, operating conditions, and control strategies. Utilize deep expertise in electrical system dynamics, transient current behavior, and battery ripple current analysis to aid in the design, optimization, and validation of advanced electrified powertrains. Construct models for analyzing efficiency, range estimation, thermal performance, cost analysis, and drive cycle generation. Convert motor electromagnetic models into formats suitable for full system model integration. Utilize battery cell supplier data to create models for cell and pack configurations, applicable for powertrain system-level modeling and BMS algorithm development. Process and analyze data from prototypes, test benches, and field-deployed vehicles. Correlate model predictions with real-world data to validate and enhance simulations. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to elevate model accuracy and product performance. Support the development of data pipelines and dashboards for system health monitoring and usage profiling.
