About the Role
As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing EWB-USA’s impact by managing volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and engagement across various programs. You will collaborate closely with staff, volunteers, and partner organizations to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for our volunteers.
This position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while helping to expand the reach and effectiveness of our initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop recruitment materials and strategies to attract potential volunteers and match them with suitable domestic projects based on their skills and interests.
- Oversee the onboarding process for volunteer teams and chapters, including eligibility coordination, agreement management, and ongoing support for chapter officers.
- Facilitate informational sessions to guide volunteer teams through project expectations and processes.
- Provide general support to volunteers across programs, addressing inquiries, updating resources, and assisting with participation opportunities.
- Maintain effective communication channels to enhance volunteer engagement and experience.
