Role overview

This working student position in Mechanical Design centers on supporting the design and development of battery and charger products. The role involves collaborating with a team of over 30 specialists, contributing to engineering projects that advance sustainable mobility solutions.

What you will do

  • Design and develop mechanical components and fixtures for new products.
  • Perform basic mechanical and thermal sizing calculations to support design decisions.
  • Support rapid prototyping in-house, with a focus on 3D printing to test design concepts.
  • Create manufacturing-ready drawings for parts and products used in procurement.
  • Prepare and maintain development documentation, including review documents, bills of materials (BoMs), and assembly instructions.
  • Assist in developing tools and test fixtures for product validation.
  • Coordinate the procurement of prototype parts and oversee related processes.
