Who We Are Looking For:
The ideal team member will maintain team objectives by working in collaboration with Group Leaders and fellow Team Members to foster continuous improvement. This role requires working closely with the Group Leader and Team Members to identify and escalate quality concerns according to our established processes, ensuring that we deliver the highest quality products to both internal and external customers. The Team Lead will consistently exhibit behaviors that support a team-oriented environment, effectively managing safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in facilitating work activities within the department, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and processes.
- Support the achievement of safety, quality, and productivity metrics by:
- Being the first line of support for team members during abnormal conditions.
- Escalating issues to ensure appropriate resources are engaged when abnormalities arise.
- Maintaining operational continuity by filling in for absent team members when necessary (e.g., during breaks or absenteeism).
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Overseeing personnel responsible for loading and unloading trucks, verifying counts, and inspecting for damaged packaging.
- Ensuring the safe operation of equipment by team members.
