Construction Project Manager (Temporary Contract)
Location: Los Gatos, CA
Duration: 4-5 Month Engagement

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Manager to supervise a prestigious residential housing project covering 100,000 square feet from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and fostering effective communication among all project stakeholders. The ideal individual will demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, comprehensive construction expertise, and adept problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Administer and oversee project budgets to ensure optimal cost management.
- Efficiently allocate and manage resources to fulfill project objectives.
- Monitor all onsite and offsite construction activities to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and guide construction teams and subcontractors.
- Conduct daily progress reviews to ensure project timelines are met.
- Proactively address and resolve project-related issues, minimizing disruptions.
- Maintain open lines of communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and detailed reports to stakeholders regarding project status.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, safety codes, and local regulations.
- Keep thorough project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a comparable role.
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficient with project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, Bluebeam, Procore, etc.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to interpret and understand construction plans and specifications.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) are advantageous.
