Role Overview The People Technology Team at N26 supports and improves the tools that power the People function, including Workday HCM modules, Greenhouse, and other key systems. As Lead Workday Specialist, this position plays a central role in maintaining and enhancing these platforms. The work directly impacts process efficiency and the day-to-day experience of the N26 workforce. The role also serves as the main contact for recruitment tools. Main Responsibilities Maintain and optimize internal HR and Financial information systems. This may include database management, network support, installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades for applications, systems, and modules. Install, implement, modify, and upgrade software and applications to keep pace with business and technology changes. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR and Finance employees. Work with executive leadership and HR/Finance staff to identify and deliver improvements to existing services and databases. Recommend and implement solutions. Manage permissions, access, personalization, and related system operations for HR/Finance service users, ensuring alignment with internal policies and legal requirements. Develop custom functions and documentation, such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports. Compile or help acquire complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR/Finance staff. Act as lead representative and liaison between HR/Finance, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HR/Finance database design and implementation projects. Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy regulations. Stay informed about trends in data management, security, HR/Finance technology, and HRIS/ERP applications. Oversee procurement of hardware and software to ensure the organization runs efficient, high-quality systems. Location This role is based in Berlin.
