We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager in the Financial Services sector to lead the execution of strategic and complex projects, ensuring they meet budgetary, temporal, and scope requirements, all while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and adhering to the bank’s regulations and compliance policies.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned strategic and complex projects, from planning through to closure, ensuring high standards of quality, cost management, time efficiency, and scope adherence.
- Define project resources, deliverables, objectives, and milestones to facilitate precise IT capacity planning.
- Adhere to project management and Business Relationship Management (BRM) processes during project initiation and contribute significantly to the project charter development alongside the BRM team.
- Implement strategies for risk mitigation and develop comprehensive project risk management plans to ensure that budgets accommodate agreed-upon risk responses.
- Lead and manage the project team, resolving conflicts promptly to maintain a productive work environment and prevent timeline delays.
- Effectively identify and address technical challenges within the project to meet established goals within the defined budget and timeline, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure that appropriate issue resolution actions are taken and relevant escalations occur as necessary.
- Prepare detailed status reports for stakeholders and keep senior management informed about project progress, offering solutions for their review and approval.
- Maintain accurate technical and administrative project documentation, contributing to the organization's knowledge base through lessons learned.
- Align project objectives with the overarching goals of the organization.
- Manage relationships with external vendors to foster positive collaborations between vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project governance methodologies as defined by the PMO.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews of selected projects following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), analyze outcomes, and provide actionable recommendations to the program manager.
