The Maintenance Manager at Linah Group is tasked with the comprehensive oversight and management of maintenance activities across all organizational facilities. This role involves the integration of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), autonomous maintenance, lean methodologies, and the incorporation of AI technologies within maintenance management systems.
The scope of responsibilities encompasses manufacturing plants, company vehicles, agricultural assets, and any additional infrastructure requiring maintenance. The Maintenance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring maximum equipment uptime, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards across all sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Operational Oversight:
- Develop and implement a cohesive maintenance strategy aimed at standardizing and optimizing operations across all business units.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for both preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure cost-efficient maintenance planning that aligns with business needs and operational priorities.
Factory & Plant Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance of all manufacturing facilities, machinery, and utilities, ensuring optimal production efficiency and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage predictive, preventive, and emergency maintenance schedules in collaboration with plant managers.
Fleet & Vehicle Maintenance:
- Ensure timely servicing, repairs, and documentation of all company-owned vehicles, including cars, trucks, and specialized equipment.
- Coordinate with vehicle vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective repairs and inspections.
Agricultural & Farm Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance of all agricultural equipment (tractors, irrigation systems, machinery), farm buildings, and related infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the farm operations team to plan and execute seasonal and operational maintenance needs.
People & Vendor Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage site-level maintenance supervisors and technicians.
- Source, evaluate, and manage third-party service providers and contractors.
- Develop and implement training programs for internal maintenance teams to ensure capability and compliance.
Budgeting & Compliance:
- Prepare and manage the group maintenance budget along with cost control measures.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations surrounding equipment safety, environmental standards, and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain documentation and reporting for audits and inspections.
Technology & Innovation:
- Identify opportunities to enhance systems through digital tools (e.g., CMMS) and introduce best practices across the group.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance reliability, sustainability, and efficiency.
