Join Our Dynamic Team as a Finance Systems & Operations Analyst!
At sideinc, we are seeking a motivated individual to provide top-notch functional support for our D365 F&O Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, and Expense Management. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, documenting workarounds, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure seamless operations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide functional support for D365 F&O Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Expense Management).
- Triage incidents, reproduce issues, identify root causes, document workarounds/fixes, and escalate to technical teams/partners as necessary.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities by validating data, resolving issues, and offering process guidance.
- Maintain finance configurations within governance standards, ensuring proper posting setups, journals, parameters, and approvals/workflows.
- Support user access/security requests by implementing role-based practices and maintaining segregation of duties.
- Monitor and ensure data quality for key master data, including vendors, customers, chart of accounts, and dimensions.
- Gather requirements, map processes, and convert needs into functional documentation such as user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Configure solutions within your role's scope and coordinate with developers for necessary extensions/integrations.
- Identify opportunities for simplifying, standardizing, and automating Finance processes.
- Plan and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scripts, defect logging, and validation support.
- Participate in release planning and regression testing to ensure stable deployments and compliance controls.
- Support Finance reporting and analysis through Excel/Power BI extracts, reconciliations, and ad hoc insights.
