Key Responsibilities Include:Manage and maintain all corporate financial records, ensuring accuracy in books of original entry, supporting schedules, and subsidiary ledgers. Establish and uphold corporate policies regarding accounting matters. Gather and analyze corporate financial data to provide comprehensive internal reports to management. Oversee the annual budgeting and planning process to align with long-term financial and business strategies. Assist all levels of the organization in budget preparation through training and the provision of relevant information. Set and maintain cost accounting standards for implementation across the corporation. Support proposal efforts through precise pricing strategies. Deliver specialized reporting and analysis of financial information to management. Create procedures for reviewing and approving budgeted expenditure justifications. Manage the month-end closing process and produce timely monthly financial statements and management reports. Oversee the accounting system, recommending enhancements and process improvements. Implement accounting policies to enhance operational efficiency. Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor/manage cash flow effectively.
