Kleurrijk Wonen provides housing for thousands of tenants across Tiel and five nearby municipalities. The Financial Controller plays a key part in supporting the financial health of the organization, helping to ensure homes remain safe, affordable, and sustainable.
Role overview
This position centers on financial stewardship and collaboration. The Financial Controller works closely with the Financial Control team and connects with other business departments to understand priorities and support effective action. The role involves navigating financial challenges related to sustainability, availability, and affordability, while keeping Kleurrijk Wonen compliant and efficient.
What you will do
- Prepare financial reports for the organization.
- Improve products from the planning and control cycle.
- Draft budgets and annual accounts.
- Analyze financial data using tools such as Power-BI, focusing on maintenance, planning, and budgeting.
- Advise management on financial policies and decision-making.
- Offer recommendations for process improvements.
- Monitor market trends and translate them into practical strategies for the team.
Compensation and benefits
- Gross monthly salary between €5,097 and €6,890 (based on a 36-hour workweek).
- Year-end bonus of 4%, plus an additional 3% of gross annual salary if organizational targets are met.
- Initial one-year contract, with the intention to convert to a permanent contract after mutual evaluation.
- Flexible working hours, including the possibility to work four 9-hour days.
- Remote work options, with a home office reimbursement of €2.45 per day.
- Full reimbursement for public transport, or €0.23 per kilometer for car or bike travel (up to 100 km/day).
