Your Responsibilities
Design fire alarm systems tailored for commercial and industrial projects in Richland Hills, TX, and the broader DFW region.
Develop comprehensive system layouts, device placement schematics, and riser diagrams utilizing AutoCAD and other design tools.
Conduct battery calculations and ensure adherence to NFPA 72, NEC, and local regulations.
Examine project plans, specifications, and bid documents for precision and compliance.
Work collaboratively with project managers, estimators, and field personnel to ensure seamless project execution.
Assist in preconstruction activities through takeoffs and design contributions.
Modify designs according to field conditions and feedback from the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
Deliver fire alarm system designs that are accurate, complete, and ready for construction.
