Qualifications
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure HR compliance across all entities, adhering to federal, state, and local employment laws, including multi-state employment regulations. Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance, 401(k), and other employee benefits, from vendor selection to open enrollment and daily support. Research, develop, and implement HR policies and procedures that scale with our growth while maintaining a practical and employee-friendly approach. Manage all employment documentation, including offer letters, employment agreements, I-9s, background checks, and personnel file management. Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager for seamless transitions from recruiting to onboarding and oversee the administrative elements of the employee lifecycle. Maintain HRIS and employee data, ensuring accurate records and reporting capabilities. Coordinate with external partners, including benefits brokers and employment counsel, on HR-related issues. Support payroll processes and liaise with accounting on compensation matters. Handle employee relations with discretion, escalating issues as necessary. Develop and maintain the employee handbook, policies, and HR documentation. Facilitate the integration of acquired companies by ensuring compliant hiring practices and onboarding processes.

This role is essential for ensuring compliance, administering employee benefits, managing the employee lifecycle, and crafting policies that enhance the employee experience from onboarding to offboarding.
This position requires a hands-on individual contributor who will directly assist our holding company and its portfolio businesses. You will collaborate with our Talent Acquisition Manager to guarantee a smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding and partner with leadership to implement scalable HR processes that align with our growth.
