MoneyThumb is hiring a remote Business Development Manager focused on new business. This role blends team leadership with hands-on business development, driving growth across the fintech and financial services space.
Leadership and Team Development
- Lead and mentor a team of Account Executives and Business Development Representatives, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Set clear goals, manage performance, and deliver ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Guide the team in refining outreach strategies, improving conversion rates, and handling complex sales cycles.
- Support hiring and onboarding as the team grows.
- Report regularly on pipeline health, activity metrics, and team results to senior leadership.
Business Development
- Identify and build relationships with decision-makers at lenders, fintech firms, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Own the full sales process: outreach, discovery, demos, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
- Develop a deep understanding of MoneyThumb’s product and communicate its value to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Pursue strategic partnerships with SaaS platforms, systems integrators, and fintech ecosystems.
- Represent MoneyThumb at industry events, trade shows, and conferences including Money20/20 and Finovate.
- Share market and client feedback with the product team to inform the roadmap.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth client handoffs and strong onboarding experiences.
- Coordinate with marketing on messaging, campaigns, and lead generation strategies.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts in the CRM, providing regular updates on team and individual progress.
