Aptos Foundation is seeking a Community Manager for Korea to help grow and support our presence in the Korean blockchain community. This position focuses on engaging developers, node operators, content creators, founders, and educators, helping to expand our local network and strengthen ties with the global Aptos ecosystem.
This role suits someone proactive and well-versed in crypto who understands the unique landscape of community building in Korea. The main goal is to nurture a resilient, active community while aligning with broader global initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Lead and expand the Aptos community across digital channels such as Telegram, Discord, Twitter, our Forum, and local platforms like KakaoTalk and Naver.
- Act as a connector between the global Aptos community and Korean users, ensuring clear communication and cultural alignment.
- Work closely with Korean team members focused on business development, partnerships, and ecosystem growth.
- Coordinate with the APAC marketing team and the Head of Community to support regional and global campaigns.
- Contribute to strategic planning, execution, and performance analysis within the Community Team.
- Help maintain a positive, healthy, and enriching community culture.
- Collaborate with community managers from other regions to share insights and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a vision and strategy for sustainable community growth in Korea.
- Set objectives and key results for weekly reporting.
- Create initiatives to engage and onboard members from outside the Aptos ecosystem, highlighting its unique advantages.
- Encourage active participation and help new members become advocates.
- Work with the Head of Community and APAC Marketing Lead to implement these strategies.
- Manage and grow the Korean Collective.
- Support Korean ambassadors through grants, resources, and other assistance, partnering with the Head of Community and Collective Manager.
- Plan and execute events and activations, handling logistics, promotion, and follow-through.
Location
This role is based in Korea or within the broader APAC region.
