Supported by Kia America, Inc., the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) offers a unique opportunity for Veterans to advance their automotive careers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Expertly diagnose, maintain, and repair various Kia vehicles, covering areas such as engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Accurately complete repair orders and warranty requests in line with Kia’s established policies and procedures.
  • Conduct test drives to analyze, diagnose, and rectify vehicle issues using Kia’s diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Perform services, diagnostics, and repairs promptly while collaborating with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
